Rainbow Room Program

Our Rainbow Room Program is a program designed to provide small group and one-on-one attention for kindergarten eligible children and children that just miss the kindergarten cutoff. The 4:1 ratio in the Rainbow Room allows for the teachers to focus on specific core pre-academic skills such as literacy, math, and science, as well as in other essential areas such as art, social and emotional well-being that your child may need to work on before kindergarten. The Rainbow Room teachers hone in on childrens’ individual strengths and needs in order to help them grow their strengths and strengthen their areas of need before kindergarten. Teachers create modified and differentiated activities to meet the needs and abilities of the range of children in the Rainbow Room.

All children learn and grow at their own pace. Some children need to work on their fine motor skills while others need to hone in on their social skills. Whatever your child’s area of need may be, the small group and individualized setting of the Rainbow Room allows your child to grow at a pace that is best suited and tailored to them. The Rainbow Room teachers aim to bridge the gap between preschool and kindergarten by incorporating more structured learning time into our play based learning model. Teachers create an age appropriate and engaging curriculum to help your child grow socially, emotionally, cognitively, and physically with small group and individual attention.
